Text Chemistry by Amy North or Text the Romance Back by Mike Fiore?
Which guide will turn you into a better texting goddess with men?
In my opinion, you can make romantic texts your most powerful weapon to wrap a man around your finger.
If only you knew what to write and when to send them.
The right kind of texts will grab his attention away from what he’s doing in the moment, make him miss you, think about you all day and above all- get him to respond (and usually promptly).
Romantic text messages work well because they take advantage of your time apart.
The distance creates scarcity of time together and the right strategic, well-crafted texts creates desire…
…desire to hear from you and see you as soon as possible.
So far, these are the two best guides on texting I’ve come across (besides mine of course ).
Both Text the Romance Back by Mike Fiore and Text Chemistry by Amy North can accomplish everything mentioned above, but they are structured differently and are (primarily) designed for different relationship phases.
One is more for couples whose relationship needs a boost of romance while the other is better for women just starting in a relationship or who just recently met a man.
Although, I’d highly recommend both for a woman in any of the relationship phases, each has its own unique way of teaching how to connect or reconnect with the man in your life (or the one you’re into).
We’ll look at the PROs and CONs of each and how you could benefit from each of them.
But… I want to make sure that it even makes sense for you to purchase either one of the to begin with.
Let’s make if it’s the right fit or not.
So, first things first, why even purchase Text the Romance Back or Text Chemistry?

Because you will learn the techniques that place a purpose into each text message you send that can attract a man you like or draw a man
you’re dating or in a relationship with emotionally closer to you.
Without a purpose behind each of your texts, you risk sending random, aimless texts that can confuse, annoy and sabotage the message that you want to communicate with your man- which ultimately can scare him off.
Many of us are NOT accustomed to expressing our worries, fears or concerns when we don’t feel right.
In fact, most of us fall apart.
Please don’t misunderstand me. I know that it’s a two-way street.
The same goes for us men confusing, annoying and sabotaging our efforts to connect with you.
But this review is for you.
And the great thing is that you can learn the techniques to guide your interactions and conversations with men in the direction that suites you- including getting them to abide by your standards and earning your respect.
BUT…
… without the knowledge and practice to send strategic texts you will only rely on luck and hope that what you want to say and accomplish hits their mark and do not push make him nervous and push him away.
Relationship coach and author Mike Fiore designed Text the Romance Back as a 4-week program primarily to help men or women in committed relationships.
Each week’s lesson builds on top of the next to take your stale and emotionally-dead relationship back to the good ‘ole romantic days when you first started dating.
While author and dating coach Amy North designed Text Chemistry primarily for women in the early stages of dating who wish to start a relationship with a man and then grow closer together.
Plus, Amy reveals how to deal with a man when he starts misbehaving (like sending you nudes or inquiring about sex too early) and acting dismissive by attempting to chase or date other women while still seeing you.
The layout and the design of the two texting guides is another big difference.
We will go into the features and product descriptions in a moment, though..
So, does one of these texting guides suite you better than the other?
Are you married or dating someone in which the relationship has plateaued and become predictable and has lost practically all signs of romance?
Does your relationship seem loveless and lacks feeling?
Text the Romance Back will suit you if you enjoy self-study and do not fear testing out what you learned IRL (in real life).
It will help you to identify what you appreciate about your man and thus encourage him to reciprocate his favorable feelings toward you and rekindle your mutual lost romance.
This guide will help you if you wish to seek peace and find ways to work as a team again to share affection.

Indecisive over how to word your next text or when to send it to the guy you’re into or the man you’ve flirted back-and-forth with?
Text Chemistry will help you if you wish to become efficient or learn to master all the intricate, tricky texting situations to avoid scaring him off and instead keep him chasing and responding to your texts.
Amy packages and lays out her texts into different categories to be sent during the different phases of relationships.
And while you learn texting techniques to guide you through all phases of relationships, for the most part, the bulk of Text Chemistry is designed for the women in the earlier stages of relationships- when you meet a man and then date him for a bit.

If you feel that two people right for each other just click with no fear of confusing, annoying or dissuading a man from freely willing to contact you back.
And that would be to say you do not need to pay attention to the words you choose nor the timing of your messages.
Or if you underestimate the power of how unexpected surprise text messages emotionally draw us closer to the women who send them.
Or if you overlook the advantage text messages can have to settle differences between two upset people because it can be less intimidating than a face-to-face meeting.
Basically, if you feel that text messages will not give you any significant advantage to attract a man, deep his emotional bond to you or settle any disputes than these eBooks will not do you much good.
Perhaps it’d serve you better reading James Bauer’s “His Secret Obsession” to gain a deeper understanding what emotionally draws us closer to women and makes us consider a relationship with her.
However, if advancing your romantic text message techniques interests you then please take a look at the descriptions of each of these guides.

Overall the sections that focus on how to text men (the guide bounces between how to text both sexes) in Text the Romance Back hit the mark on how us men interpret the message that you want to communicate and how to accomplish the objective with them.
After all, the guide is created by a male relationship coach.
I like that the guide includes both copy-and-paste text messages and sample back-and-forth text conversations to illustrate how to master each category of texts.
Mike’s style is short and to-the-point without getting overly wordy plus the spacing between lines is reader friendly.
The online version makes it easy to jump from one section to the next and to specific points.
Text the Romance Back at times, though, can get too analytical for my taste, and thus seem confusing.
(For example, Mike suggests to insert certain categories of texts at specific points in the conversation and unless you have become very familiar with the different categories, you might have to go back and review them).
Therefore, I suggest going through the course at least two times AND to practice each style of text in order to master them.
The guide delivers what it promises to its primary target audience- couples who’ve run into a stale or mundane relationship.
However, I’d like to see more content for women in the early stages of relationships (courtship and beginning to date).
Overall, Text the Romance Back is easy to follow and the text category names properly reflect their objective- Appreciation Texts, Relationship Time Machine Texts, Text Massage Texts, etc.

I find Text Chemistry a little easier to follow than Text the Romance Back due to a less analytical approach and more visually appealing layout.
Although, I do wish that it had an online version like Text the Romance Back to make it easier to jump specific points and that Amy could use more easily-identifiable names for her text categories (for example, Game on Texts, Supernova Texts and Satellite Texts).
I feel that Parts I (The Rules for Texting) and III (What to Text Him When: A Look at Various Situations and Scenarios) are especially helpful to women because they can steer you clear of sending texts that could confuse or bother him.
Plus, what Amy teaches can rescue you from uncomfortable situations like when a guy you barely know asks about sex, or someone you don’t feel ready to advance with sexually sends you nude pics.
The theory behind her texts to achieve specific objectives with men is pretty spot on although I believe Mike’s Text the Romance Back reaches a deeper level of our guys’ core emotional needs.
Still Amy’s material is extremely effective and contains less sexual content than Text the Romance Back.
Not saying that Text the Romance Back comprises mostly of sexual texting strategies, because it doesn’t, but Amy’s Text Chemistry contains less sexual content proportionately speaking to the rest of her guide than Mike’s.
Hands down my favorite part of Amy’s Text Chemistry are the videos.
Most are less than 3 minutes in duration and provide a comforting break from just reading the text.
Admittedly that makes me start to consider doing the same for my own guides.
As far as writing voice, I like them both, but I prefer Amy’s because she sticks to the lesson while Mike at times comes across like he’s trying too hard to connect and at times it sort of distracts from the lesson at hand.
In all I feel that Text Chemistry is the better way to go if you just met a guy or are dating.
If you are married or in a long-term relationship than Mike’s Text the Romance Back contains more advanced communication techniques to reconnect with your husband or boyfriend.

Some of the content from both guides overlaps and teaches similar lessons, however, each has its own unique sets of points of view.
Here are my favorites:
How to compliment your partner in an authentic way that he feels your love and begins to feel emotionally connected to you again.
Mike illustrates how to send appreciation text via sample text conversations with fictitious characters.
Plus, he provides a list of possible traits you could select from to help you brainstorm possible compliments.
The list of “made-for-you” texts makes it easy so when you find a message you like you don’t have to struggle to think of one on your own.
This is a very effective texting technique that I have used for years that practically guarantees the person you send it to you will write back without even asking for a response.
Mike even instructs you how to handle the situation when you do not receive a response.
Once again, you will find sample text conversations within this section to see how the technique works in action.
Sometimes your partner will not find themselves in the state of mind to get romantic due to work or something else going on.
That’s why using a technique like a Relationship Time Machine text can help you ease into the conversation to set the stage for a romantic evening later on.
(Layering the Different Kinds of Texts in the Same Conversation)
In Week 4, in the Digital Foreplay Text section, Mike guides you through a sample text conversation where you initiate the conversation with a Curiosity Magnet text to get your partner’s attention and then transition to different text techniques until you arrive to the juicy flirty part.
This is thorough way to view his entire course in action.
Amy’s clips are interesting and the appropriate length to keep your attention. They make it more enjoyable to learn from the lessons rather than just reading the text.
Each video clip is strategically placed within each section for each lesson she teaches.
Here’s a very clever topic that coincides quite well with the rest of the course.
Adding this to the beginning of the guide immediately draws attention to an important mindset change you must adopt- us men express our thoughts and feelings differently than you do, especially via texts.
And, despite being a fairly expressive guy, who is used to discussing deep emotions (and writing about them) I can quite guarantee you that if you do NOT follow Amy’s advice here you could quickly annoy and turn off even expressive men like me- imagine men who are not accustomed to putting their feelings into words!
Amy created an acronym R.U.L.E.S to help you remember what to do and not do to improve the chances that you connect with the man you’re into while avoiding pushing him away.
Each letter stands for an actionable piece of advice.
This section is vital to develop a mindset which allows you to routinely draft effective texts and avoid miscommunication pitfalls.
I highly recommend learning the proper way to include humor in your texts to lighten the mood and illustrate that you are a fun woman who is easy to get a along with.
Coming across as fun and easy-to-get-along-with Perfect Girlfriend List: What Men Want in a Relationship [Free Download] are two traits are included in my list of the most common traits the typical man seeks in women.
Amy’s sample comical texts can serve as a way to create the image that you possess these two traits in your guy’s mind plus attract him to you through innocent flirting.
When you feel that the man you’re into is slipping away emotionally or getting interested in another woman then Amy’s creative Stir the Pot texts will either get him back on the track you want or at least clarify where he stands with you.
At one point or another a man you start to see will cancel plans on you, but you must respond in the proper way or risk looking insecure and inflexible which can turn him off, Amy offers some strategic ways to handle it with class while still maintaining the upper hand.
Amy reveals some of her techniques how to increase a man’s sexual attraction in you while avoiding him from treating you just like one of the guys.
I like both of these texting guides.
I think they offer women great advice to understand how us men interpret texts and thus how to get us to chase you and above all to
respond.
However, I want to offer my honest opinion on both the things I like and do not like, as well as, share what I think could improve them.
Predicts how a man might respond to the different kinds of texts taught throughout the course based on different scenarios or if he doesn’t respond at all.
Audio clips throughout the course at the beginning of each section.
His Appreciation Texts are a genius first step to grabbing your partner’s attention and rekindling romance in a relationship that has gotten a little stale.
You can immediately put Week One’s techniques into practice and begin turning around your relationship quickly.
Mike offers numerous fill-in-the-blank and copy-and-paste texts, this gives you the reader instant ammunition to capture your man’s heart.
Thorough, real-life sample text conversations in each section (Week 1 – Week 4) to see how to properly apply the different kinds of texting techniques.
Many of Mike’s texting strategies will spark curiosity in us guys and create the high probability that we will respond to your texts.
Online course version makes it easy to jump right to the specific lessons you want to review again.
While viewing the online version of Text the Romance Back the website has a glitch of signing you out sometimes when you haven’t scrolled or clicked any links, which of course, I find annoying and forces you to sign back in.
At times Mike’s personality through his writing can come across as too “locker roomish” and a little degrading, not often, but it bothers me especially knowing that women are his primary target audience.
Some of the seductive texts might go too far for you if you are not ready for sex or wish to wait until you are married.

Despite not offering an online version of the course like Text the Romance Back has, I do like that the eBook scrolls from left to right because it seems to scroll faster than up and down.
It also allows you to focus on one section at time, giving you a full view of the page, you’re reading without having to scroll down to view more.
The book is visually appealing with colorful illustrations and background images. I find that it calms my mood while reading it and makes it easier to read and learn.
The psychology of his Mike’s texting techniques is thorough and paves the way for deep emotional connection with your man.
The video series makes the learning of her material more interesting and enjoyable.
Reveals the differences between men and women’s communication style at the beginning of the guide which you then keep in mind as you move through each of the texting techniques.
You can read the entire guide in one sitting and immediately begin practicing the techniques right away.
Confusing names for her texting techniques.
While I do like the left-to-right scroll feature for speed and focus the one thing, I miss from scrolling up and down is that I cannot center the line I want to read at the top of my laptop screen.
She needs more copy-and-paste and fill-in the blank texts so you can get more practice in order to master each category of texts.

No relationship or dating guide I have ever read is perfect.
I tend to find certain items or layout features that could make it easier to read.
Or I find pieces of content that it lacks that could enhance the lesson being taught.
Here I share how I would improve these two guides:
Video lessons inserted throughout the course like Text Chemistry
Graphics and colorful illustrations to break the monotony of reading.
More content for the early stages of relationships, or at least a bonus book or separate title altogether.
An online version to jump to specific points in the course like Text the Romance Back does.
Choose names for the variety of texts that make more sense to help you remember them more easily.
More sample text conversations using her techniques, both in quantity and in length. I feel Text the Romance Back does a more complete job of this.
Links to return back to the Table of Contents in order to jump to specific lessons in the guide.
Overall I give both Text Chemistry by Amy North and Text the Romance Back by Mike Fiore high scores.
Both are geared towards teaching texting techniques that help you emotionally connect with men.
However, I feel that Text the Romance Back touches base with our male emotions towards women and relationships on a slightly deeper level then Text Chemistry.
At the same time, Text the Romance Back is more designed for women who are dating or in a committed relationship while Text Chemistry is more focused on texting strategies for women who have just met a man that they like or started to date.
Plus, a big advantage of Text the Romance Back is Mike’s overall strategy of how to create curiosity to get a guy to respond to your text, something that Amy covers, but not quite as thoroughly.
On the other hand, Text Chemistry covers techniques of how to handle men’s strange and unacceptable behavior which Text the Romance Back does not .
Amy’s Text Chemistry’s colorful layout and illustrations make it more appealing and enjoyable to look at than Mike’s text-only product.
However, Mike’s Text the Romance Back is easy to read because of its shorter lines and line spacing.
Plus, with its online course version you can jump to specific topics to find them very quickly and easily when going back to review the guide.
Amy’s product only, on the other hand, only comes in an eBook and audio format.
But Amy does include 13 videos- one in each section, which is one of my favorite features overall between both guides, it makes for a very enjoyable read.
Both will advance your texting skills to get a guy to respond and connect with you as well as want to go out on a date with you.
In short, I feel that you should take advantage of both Text Chemistry by Amy North and Text the Romance Back by Mike Fiore because each covers topics that the other doesn’t.
This will only enhance your overall effectiveness with connecting with men via text and not accepting any disrespectful behavior from them.
